4 Simple Ways to Save Money For Your Online Business

in Healthcare

How do you come up with the money to start your online  business? Do you borrow it from family and friends or do you use you credit cards? Or maybe you’ve been told you don’t need money to start an online business.

I say to no to both because there’s a few other ways you can come up with the money you need to get started. Here are just a few that have worked for me:

  1. Sell those unwanted items you no longer use. This can be done by putting your items up on eBay or craigslist. I know you have tons of stuff that are worth money or at least a few bucks, every little bit helps.  Both of these sites are easy to use.  EBay will cost you a small amount of money but worth it if you sell something for a great price.
  2. Get rid of all those magazines subscriptions you no longer read. This goes for organizations you no longer participate in. You could use this money towards your new business.
  3. If you still work a full or part time job, start putting away a few dollars a week towards your business. Put a dollar away every time it rains and at the end of six months or a year, see what you come up with. You could use this to buy equipment, supplies, books and the list goes on. This is really great if you live in a rainy part of the country.
  4. Save your change and every month or two cash it in for dollars and put this money into your business fund. I would get $40 to $50 a month and use it to  buy paper supplies.

These are some ways I have used to raise money for my business when I was first started, I’m sure you have ideas as well. I still sell on eBay, but now I do it because it’s  fun and the extra money isn’t bad either.

And don’t let anyone tell you you don’t need much money or no money to start an online business because they are wrong. One thing I have leraned since coming online in 2006 is “You have to spend money to make money”

Hope this helps, happy saving!
