in Case Management

For those who want more information on case management which seems to be a popular article on this site here’s a link to a recent article called “A Career in Case Management” from the nursetogether.com website ( a great place for nursing information, check out what I have to say about this site on the Information Station page. )

Case Management continues to be a nursing specialty that is trending up as the baby boomer population is getting older the need for this service has increased both in house and as a great self employment opportunity.

Don’t let not being certified deter you from applying for a case management position because most skills can be learned on the job or you already have years of experience if you’ve worked in a hospital or home health, you have case management experience so don’t forget to include this in your resume.

If you have never worked as a case manager before but are considering starting a business in case management than I would suggest taking classes or get a job in case management. You’ll have more confidence in yourself when it comes time to set out on your own.

Here’s to your case management success!
